As part of its mission to prepare students for life after college, the principal and staff of St. Francis College Otukpo, will be holding a career guidance and counselling day in the college hall on Saturday 9th March 2024 at 09:00 hours.
The college is currently liaising with the college Old Boys Association, SAFOBA, for old boys to make themselves available on the career day to speak to the students on their career paths with a view to inspiring the students to aspire to great heights in any human endeavour they choose.
Speakers are expected to give an overview of the following:
- What their profession is about
- Subjects required for further study or apprenticeship in their profession
- Interpersonal or soft skills required to excel in this profession
- Job opportunities in this profession
- The exciting thing(s) about their profession
The principal of the college, Fr. Augustine Ochai, is confident there will be speakers from the following professions amongst others.
