Renovation works have commenced on three (3) classroom blocks of St. Francis College Otukpo. An old boy of the college, Major General Alechenu Alechenu, of the graduating class of 1987 is sponsoring the renovation works,.
Major General Alechenu, who visited the college to oversee the commencement of the project, said he was pushed to embark on the renovation works following the appeal from the principal in November 2023, for old boys to support the college and his long held belief that he needed to give back to the institution that helped lay the foundation on which he has been able to build a career on.
Responding, the principal of the college, Fr. Augustine Ochai, thanked Major General Alechenu for his generosity and prayed that the good Lord continues to bless him.
